Mfa Honored at the PR News Platinum Awards for MFAction’s Work With KaBOOM!

Yesterday, Mfa was honored to be included amongst some of the industry’s best at the PR News “Platinum PR & Agency Elite Awards.” MFAction, our social good team, was a finalist in the competitive Cause-Related Marketing category for the launch of the KaBOOM! Campaign for Playability. National nonprofit KaBOOM! went from building playgrounds to the desire to build a movement so that every kid in America could have a place and opportunity to play – especially the more than 16 million kids that live in poverty in this country, 80% of whom live in cities. KaBOOM! needed to change behaviors and norms and culture and practice, and drive what we created the concept of ‘Playability’ – the extent to which a city makes it easy for all kids to get balanced and active play. The campaign’s results were widespread (features in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Associated Press; #Playability on Twitter trending as a topic in the key Washington, DC market; LinkedIn reach and engagement for the client hit an all-time high and much more).
