Missy Farren

Missy founded Mfa in 1994 after a successful 15-year career in marketing and public relations on both the client and agency side. She has since led the company from a two person consultancy to a full-service, sought-after agency. Missy has proven her expertise throughout her extensive career with a unique combination of travel and lifestyle marketing experience spanning new products to entire countries.

Since entering PR, Missy has media-trained top executives and key players at a variety of organizations, from Olympic athletes to the founder and CEO of Burton Snowboards, to the chairperson for Cayman Airways, and WILLIAMSBURG's TV Home Stylist.

Clients and media look to Missy as a credible resource, both professionally and personally. Her unique style of professionalism and leadership is based upon honesty, integrity, trust and fun. This has enabled her to effectively market what she's passionate about.

Missy has re-launched the Queen Elizabeth 2; introduced Golden Door Spa to luxury Cunard vessels; brought the Swatch brand back to prominence; helped to lead crisis communications and overall come-back media strategy for the Cayman Islands after Hurricane Ivan; and managed Burton's presence at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. Additionally, she has brought the Cayman Islands, Burton, FIJI Water, and The Little Nell, to name just a few, to the forefront of consumers' minds during the last decade.
